Problems with Connecting Boombox to a Phone

Connecting my phone to a vintage speaker system (Philips D-8484) using a 3.5 mm jack to RCA. Doesn't work. Both speakers working fine, radio on the system working normally.

Take some pictures of the radio connections you are using. I don't see any good images or info on that boom box to see if it has an input.

Did you test that input jack to make sure it works OK with another device?
