hey guys,im currently using the sennheiser g4me one headset and the soundblaster z soundcard.but even when i have game audio very low "10 ingame and 30 on the windows tab" my voice is still so so quiet,i am quite a soft speaker though. im hoping to start doing commentarys on youtube of game play etc.but im barley heard, any tips on what i should do? i speak so soft i doubt anythings going to pick me up lol

Solution
In Vista, right click on the speaker icon next to the taskbar clock (lower right corner). Click on Recording Devices.
Double click your microphone in the list. Go to the Levels tab.
Here there is a slider. Set it to 100% (if it isn't already).
Under that is a boost slider, which will make the microphone record louder.

Hope this helps.

yup i have the mic volume on 100 and iv played around with the mic boost but once i hot 20 db or 30 db its hissing 🙁

How are you recording? Is there a certain software you are using, or is it built into the game? The recording volume may be turned down from there.

the soundcard i have does have software, buts its linked to the windows dials.the mic in that is at 100 as well. 🙁
