Problems with philips cd 930 - the CD compartment is no longer opening or closi

I have Philips CD930. Out of the blue the CD compartent has stopped opening and closing. Is a repair possible? The CD thats in the machine still plays fine.

There is a rubber belt that is probably worn out. This drives the drawer...
