Hello all, well I'm here with a problem that has left me baffled and not quite sure what the problem is or how to fix it. One day, months ago, I woke up and put my headphones on and tried to play CS:GO and noticed there was no sound from the game. I am a pc gamer and spend most of my time on my computer, I can listen to anything on youtube, VLC, or anything on firefox/internet. But when it comes to games I can only hear a few of them with audio in my headphones. If I want to play anything now I have to hook my HDMI up to my tv and play audio through there. But the audio for some games works THROUGH my headphones which has me completely stumped at how to fix this. I've tried everything from new drivers, old drivers, and practically messing with every setting I can find or think of. Countless google searches haven't helped me with my problem and it seems like I cant find anyone else that has this problem. If anyone can help then that would be great because I've been dying for months now to play some CS and other games I love that require me using headphones.
Oh and also, this problem has effected my itunes. When using my headphones plugged in audio wont even try to play. It freezes and then after about 10 seconds itll just stop trying to play the song. If I plug my hdmi into my tv it runs perfectly. Not being able to use my headphones for music has also been a bummer.
Thank you in advance to any advice you may leave, any help is appreciated!
