Tivo is guessing at what you like based on other shows you have recorded.
Look under Programs to Record > Tivo Suggestions to see what is thinks
you'll like.

They come set by default to automatically record its suggestions for you.
You must disable this by going to the setup section.

That would be a Suggestion.

A Suggestion is a program that is automatically recorded for you based on
what the DVR thinks you might like. For example, if you watch FUTURAMA,
your TiVo may think you'd also enjoy THE SIMPSONS and may record it for you
as a Suggestion.

Suggestions do not ever interfere with the recording of programs you
explicitly asked for. A user-requested program will not ever be deleted to
make room for a Suggestion. Suggestions are only recorded if there is free
disk space, there has been no activity on the remote control for a period
of time (30 minutes?), and nothing else has been scheduled to record in
that time slot.

Look up Suggestions and Thumbs Ratings in your manual.

Or, scan this newsgroup's archive for the past month or so and see how
often this question is raised. :)

Then read your manual.

I watch too much TV, but no one cares except my wife.
