protools software application

Is protools software better used with amd processor or intel

I used the AMD Quad-Core A6-3420M Accelerated Processor and switch to and ssd drive and it work quite decently, the problems is that pc got stolen and I don't have a lot of cash to get the highest budget pc now... That's the reason i ask which processor works the best; because i use the amd one ...

I went to avid site, but my point was, i was content on using the cpu i had, what i was asking was that cpu doomed to fail and if i could keep using it.... Another solution would be to find something on the market similar to that one....

Understood. If the app works on the platform now, there is no reason to assume using the app will damage the system and cause it to fail.

Is it working now? If so, just keep on rockin'!

BTW, my daughter uses ProTools on a less capable Mac Mini just fine.
