Solved! PS3 to monitor Sound

Right now I have my PS3 hooked up to a computer monitor (through HDMI). the sound is coming out of the computer monitor but I am wondering if there is anyway to project the sound to external speakers as the monitor sound quality is terrible? The monitor has DVI-D IN, VGA IN & Audio IN (as well as HDMI & power input).

Since the monitor doesn't have an audio output you will need an HDMI audio extractor.

or an HDMI input selector with audio extraction. That will work for more than one source.
