Apps are installed to the phone memory.
Clear your internal memory, or move apps to the sd card after rooting your phone.

Some new Android devices can't install apps on sdcard, it only installed on the /data partition, so the only way to move it is to partition your sdcard, and make symlink to the sdcard partition. Tell me if you need more information to partition.
