Question about phone and external speakers

Hello ! So i have Huawei G620S and i have some old speakers. My question is am i able to use them ? I mean i am but im worried about the functionality of the phone, particulary being damaged by the electricity required from the speakers. Overall im asking if i can damage my phone using the speakers?

The external speakers should be powered by it's own power from a wall socket, so no it won't damage your phone...

I do not intend to use the subwoofer which goes with the speakers so the speakers will drain from the phone directly

If you don't have the speakers powered, they will not work from a phone. You need some sort of power to run the speakers, a phone headphone jack only has enough power to run headphones, not a real set of speakers.
