Hi, i have an asus n76vz with intel ivy bridge and 8gb of memory at 1600 mhz from samsung. I was wondering if replacing it with memory by corsair at 1866, they would actually run at 1866, instead of 1600. But since they say that "thay are high performance memory", will anything change?

It depends how locked your bios is, but in any case, you will not notice any difference between 1600 and 1866 except in benchmarks.

The performance difference between those rams speeds is minimal at best..

You would see all of a 1% gain in benchmarks and as said above there is no way to notice that in any real world situaltion.

And that is if it even worked. Something I doubt. Most laptops are quite picky about RAM.
