ram memory issues

hello,
i recently added a 8 gb ram to my hp laptop which already has 4 gb ram for gaming performance.now i can see improved visual performance in games but the real problem is my laptop restarts suddenly sometimes and bios image is recovered sometimes.is this issue is because of 4 and 8 gb ram combination or should i remove 4 gb and use only 8 gb...i want to upload screenshots of my laptop and ram details but i dont know how to upload.can anyone instruct me how to do it

I would remove 4gb and see if you get same errors

I assume the bios problems didn't happen before you added the ram?

Try using memtest to see if there is something wrong with the memory. If it picks up errors then you know its the new ram.
