Hello,
I just upgraded the RAM in my laptop from 16gb 3200mhz to 32gb 3200mhz but the new ram is only running at 2666mhz and i can't change it in the bios, i used the crucial system scanner to check for compatibility and it said it should work.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Laptop: MSI Bravo 17
New RAM: Crucial Ballistix 2x16 3200

Are you sure the old RAM ran at that speed? Did you check for a newer BIOS or with MSI support? It may not be able to run at the faster speed with the RAM sticks you have. "compatible" the RAM is since it boots and works, the rated RAM speed is not the "stock" speed the RAM runs at.
