Razer Tiamat 7.1 + Asus Xonar DX Setup

Alright, so the Tiamat has x5 3.5mm jacks. I have the green in headphone, pink in mic, black in front, grey in side, and orange in the center/sub ports of the Xonar DX. I just want to make sure it's in the right slots.

Also I'm getting a low buzzing noise. It does go away when I turn the volume down to very low, but then I can barely hear anything.

Another question is what settings should I be using on my Xonar Audio Center? I have it on 8 channels, PCM 96Khz, SPDIF out has 7.1 virtual speaker shifter checked off. For analog out should it be on 7.1 speakers or headphones? I noticed on headphones it sounds "clearer".

Use the 7.1 headphones setting. put the headphones on, and unplug the headphone jacks one by one, and figure out which jack the buzzing sound is coming from. then buy one of these plug that jack in through it: http/www.amazon.com/automotive/dp/B001EAQTRI
