Alright, so the Tiamat has x5 3.5mm jacks. I have the green in headphone, pink in mic, black in front, grey in side, and orange in the center/sub ports of the Xonar DX. I just want to make sure it's in the right slots.
Also I'm getting a low buzzing noise. It does go away when I turn the volume down to very low, but then I can barely hear anything.
Another question is what settings should I be using on my Xonar Audio Center? I have it on 8 channels, PCM 96Khz, SPDIF out has 7.1 virtual speaker shifter checked off. For analog out should it be on 7.1 speakers or headphones? I noticed on headphones it sounds "clearer".
