rca no audio

Hi! I just bought karaoke mixer to connect the microphone and Tv going to my reciever.
My problem is when i try to connect the TV (rca cable) to mixer it doesn't have any audio. But the microphone works well fine.
I tried it so many times.
Its LG HBS760.
The mixer has rca connection only.
Digital audio and arc hdmi from works fine when connected directly to the amplifier.
Is there any way i can mix microphone and tv sounds to my karaoke mixer.(use for karaoke)

Have you tried another known working RCA cable?

Yeah i tried it
But it doesnt work too.
From TV > using arc hdmi and toslink to reciever(amplifier) works fine...(w/ audio)
From TV > to mixer using rca cable. No audio...
I will try to figure out the problem when i got home.
Is it possible that my tv rca slot is input and not out put....

If thats the case...
Can i use toslink converter to use my tv going to the mixer.
DAC from TV to converter then
RCA from output converter to input mixer...
