I have a 32" Samsung smart tv with RCA outputs for speakers and I have ca-3090 speaker that I wanted to use for my tv speakers. I bought an RCA to MP3 converter so I could plug the speakers into the tv. However, when I go into settings and change the speaker output to Audio Out, no sound comes out of anything. Does anyone know of something I may be doing wrong?

He means the RCA to 3.5mm audio jack.

Not sure why it doesn't work. I'd have to check the manual.

So you need to post the exact MODEL and if possible link to the manual.

Are you running the RCA to the AUx In on the Speaker Control unit, or did you go RCA to the Control Unit wire?
What model TV?

Yes that is what I mean, thank you. The tv is a model #: UN32J5205AF. The user guide is on this site: http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/model/UN32J5205AFXZC/

I can't seem to find a solution though.

I have the rca going to the 3.5 jack which connects to the speakers

I doubt it connects to the speakers... you have to connect thru the Hub. Are you connected to the long lead of the hub (best option I think) or to the aux In on the Hub?

Sorry, I don't think I'm that technologically inclined. What is the hub? And what is the long lead?
