RCA Viking Pro Tablet what cause my keyboard to get out of sync with my touch?

In attempt to type this question is a challenge. At first I thought it was my error in my touching the screen. But now the screen types numbers instead letters on alphabet screen. It switches between screens during typing.
Could someone tell causing this to occur?
I've barely had this tablet a year.

This may help but it doesn't come with a guarantee. Go into Settings and find Display then turn off the Rotate facility. I've had to do it on Android devices and it has worked for me.

Auto rotate can switch around from vertical to horizontal just because you tip the device slightly one way or the other and it seems the touch keyboard doesn't know if its coming or going.
