I have just been restoring a Satellite L300-1DN laptop for someone which has 2 main issues -
1) It was filthy inside
2) It instantly asks for BIOS password upon boot of which is unknown and the standard "Toshiba" does not work, therefore I believe that the BIOS will need to be reset.
I have disassembled it and cleaned it all out and reassembled it again back to how it was. However when I now switch it on although the power and battery lights come on and the fan is working, there is no display nor is there any activity from the hard drive or its lights.
Any thoughts as to the cause of this?
Thanks
