Recommended computer microphones for skype calling and gaming commentaries

What are some cheap computer microphones that are durable, loud and clear? Doesn't have to have great quality like Blue. I had a philips shm1000 and creative hs-850, both too quiet. Price range: I'd say less than $40 (I'm broke:/). (P.S. I don't have a sound card)

I use a Plantronics Gamecom 380. However a new one is out called the Gamecom 388 with Saints Row 3 included free. It's only £20 and it's awesome

Thank you for the fast reply! However I'm looking for just a microphone, I already have a pair of headphones. (Accidentally chose this as the best solution 😛)

Yea, I was thinking about getting the Blue Snowball, but how is it compared to the Samson Go Mic? My friend uses it and it's pretty good. How much better is the Snowball than it?

Well from what ive seen, the blue snowball has a warmer and better sound. If you search up "blue snowball vs samson go mic" you can hear for yourself the sound difference in some vids.
