recording system to external drive

I just bought a 2tb external drive and also just bought Dxtory to record some pc gameplay. When i record the gameplay it always goes to my main drive instead of my external drive. Is there a way i can fix this so all the recordings will go to the external drive? If you know what to do please respond! Thanks and have a great day.

Just set the appropriate output folder, as detailed here. However, depending upon the resolution you are using, your external disk may not be fast enough. An eSATA, or possibly USB3, connection should be OK but USB2 will almost certainly be too slow.
