Recovery of factory settings

Hello,
can I get back factory settings for Dell Inspiron if I have overwritten OS?

That depends, if it's an old laptop, it should have a restoration cd, if its a newer laptop it should have a command during post to restore the hidden restoration partition. If you overwrote the restoration partition, as well as the primary os partition, then you have hosed yourself harder than an ant in a water park.
