recovery of photos

my Samsung cingular cellphone battery is all most dead. the screen is dead because the sliding mechanism does not work. they said it can't be repaired. i need to recover some photographs. how to go about it?

If the screen is broken, but the phone is otherwise functional and powers on, you can try to extract the photos by connecting it to your PC via USB. Some phones require that the password be entered before the filesystem can be accessed. If this is the case, you may be out of luck.

The only sure way to recover those photos is to have them forensically recovered. This is an extremely expensive process that does not always work.

There's a fighting chance the photographs are stored on a Micro SD card if there is one. Worth looking?
