reinstall windows 7 without a monitor

Ive stupidly updated my video driver and when my laptop restarted it had no image on the monitor and I cant get external monitors to work anymore. Safemode doesnt get me any image either. The laptop still runs and I can blindly log in. I figure my only option is to completely reinstall windows 7 but I dont know if I can do that blind. Any suggestions?
The laptop is an alienware m11x r1.
Plz no "plug in another monitor" answers, ive been trying that for the past month 😛

If you boot from a Windows CD then it will not load the faulty driver at all so it won't be a blind install. Then again safe mode doesn't load the driver so you may have a deeper problem.

Wait there is no image in safemode? I assume you do see an image during polling? And if you hold down F8 during polling you do see the safemode options? If you boot in Safemode only the generic Microsoft video driver is loaded, which would suggest there something physically wrong with your laptop, as opposed to a driver issue.
