What is the best laptop option for specifically a History major, (LOTS of research, website entering, paper writing and document/ PDF saving), who is in their senior year, commutes an hour to school, is at school from literally 8-10 and needs to rely on a laptop to get the job done without worrying about a horrible battery life, poor storage, or anything that would need to be plugged in.. like headphones, a charger, a flash drive. I would be carrying it in a backpack, or in my arms all day so not to heavy but also wont break if dropped.... ** side note, I had a Lenovo yoga touchpad which was in thick laptop case in my protective backpack BECAUSE i know I have horrible luck, so i took extra steps and.. I dropped it the touch screen shattered and It was $800 to get fixed, it took a month since i had to send it out and when i finally got it back it worked for a week before the touch screen died and because the touch part died, the mouse would not move. I was told by the best buy headquarters that it was due to having to remove such a temperamental piece and that it was going to cost another $800 to get the screen fixed again but there was not guarantee it would last, SO I am in desperate need of a new laptop. classes started and of course, with my luck, I am left out of $800 with no laptop.
