Remote control not connecting with TV

Hi, Our remote onteh TV has suddenly stopped working. I telephones argos who have taken oer Bush who advised to but a ne remote. I did and have same problem. When I aim reote a Tv theblue light turns red but nothing else. I am controlling Tv through buttons at side. I can press the menu button n teh side of teh TV and I can work the remote through this. Is it possible to reprobramme Tv using this meu option. I hae a Bush model No. A626.

If both the old and new remote have the same problem then the TV may be at fault.

I know with the sky remote there is a method to sync the tv to the sky remote it states how in the manual but for your tv to sync you need to read your tv manual.
