Removing a decal off of my computer

Hello,

My laptop has a decal on the front, or what I assume is a decal, it looks like this:

I can't seem to remove it, I've tried a razor blade and it is not working too well and I'm just trying to get rid of it.

Any idea on how I can remove it?

If it really is a decal try using a hair dryer to warm the decal on one edge and work your way across the decal using a plastic putty knife.
