Repair 3 year old Sager or buy new PC?

My 3 year old sager fell from a desk and wouldn't start. I sent it to repair and they're saying the motherboard and HD have to be replaced for a cost of $650, original cost of pc was $1100. PC specs: i5, nvidia 2gb, HD 1080 display.

Is it worth it to fix? If I'm gonna get a new pc i will not spend more than $700

If you can find a PC with comparable (but newer) hardware, then go for a new system. I don't think you'll find anything for $700 max that has a dedicated NVidia card, though - nothing modern, that is. You might be able to find something used or refurbished with dedicated graphics within that budget.
