Repair or replac8e HP i7-6700HQ laptop with severly cracked screen?

I have an HP Pavilion 15-ab292nr Signature Edition Laptop from the Microsoft Store with a severly cracked screen. It has good specs i7-6700HQ 8gb ram. It works despite the screen. I'm debating replacing it vs repairing it. I'm told it will be $150-$250 to repair. Should I just replace it? What do you recommend as a replacement?

why do you need hinges too, are they also broken?
