The above post sums it all. In general it usually isn't worth the cost (maybe if you do it yourself but you'd need to have good experience because to reach the cpu you would have to disassemble much of the laptop
Is the processor actually removable?
What processors can it be changed to?
What other processors does your motherboard chipset support?
How much of a change will you really see?
So most manufactures doesn't provide us the freedom of replacing the laptop's components. I was wondering to replace my intel processor with a AMD processor that has around 3GHz. So is it possible? As for now i can't play any high end games due to my low cpu and i don't have the budget for a new gaming laptop/desktop. Please help me out.
The motherboard that I have is dell 0N7YKW and the Bios is dell A04.
