Replacin ccfl screen with led screen

I have a emachines e525 laptop, and the screen cracked the other day. I was wondering if it is possible to replace the current screen, that is ccfl, with one that is a led screen.

you can replace your cracked screen with the same ccfl screen but with led screen you need power inverters so no you cant use the led screen if the laptop was not designed/sold with one

Plus you need to make sure you get one for the same model/revision as the one you have. I have seen the connects be different just from a newer/older revision of the same model.

Check carefully to see it will work with LED screen

This will let you see if the connector is the same, if not, ccfl is the only fix
