Replacing the flash disk of a PDA

I have a PDA with a built-in flash disk of 32 MB.
I would like to replace this with a flash disk of 256 MB.
Is this flash disk a piece of hardware like an SD card?
Can I open the device, replace the flash disk by a larger one, close
the device and be happy?
Or is this a "non user serviceable" part?

Bad News - this is a non user serviceable part.

Ok News - Depending on the PDA you have, it could be upgraded at Pocket PC
Techs - http/www.pocketpctechs.com/ - again, depending on the model you
have, it could be done, but it also may just be too expensive.
