restore imspiron 910

Can I restore the Dell Inspiring 910 mini laptop running xp back to factory state. There is no DVD drive nor startup disc.have tried the F8 key over and over

You will see that a restore requires the Dell provided disk. If you don't have that, you can contact Dell and purchase the disk.

The Dell inspiron 910 is a mini with no disc space----

That is the manual for the model you listed. You can connect an external DVD/CD drive via USB to load software as needed.
