In other words, the entertainment industry thinks consumers should voluntarily install software that constantly scans our computers and identifies (and perhaps deletes) files found to be infringing?
Are they trying to force the software installation by Microsoft updates?
What will happen if users refuse?
The comment said that the copyright holders want the FBI and Department of Homeland Security to fork over agents--at the taxpayer's expense--so that they can guard the media prior to distribution.
How are they going to justify that statement in court in front of a high paid attorney?
What about the innocent computers users who just use the internet for news? Kids logging onto the internet for game news? Your telling me those corp. want these innocent tax payers to pay for something that "breaks privacy laws"?
If they actually pay the money themselves, that would be something different, but they actually thinking they are trying to pass a law so tax payers can pay more tax.
I'm not taking no sides here, but those laws forced upon us is really wrong. And not to mention they are trying to force other countries (China, Russia, European countries) to use the same policies.
