Greetings,
I have a Samsung LNS 1952. Recently I ran into problems with the TV's side button panels (the ones to adjust volume/channel/etc), such as the volume changing by itself. After some research online, a common "hacky" solution was to open up the TV and disconnect the wires leading to the panel. Stupidly in trying to do this, I ripped out the wires (could not open the TV fully, so it was done awkwardly).
I want to ensure that there is no danger with this TV. If I turn it on for a while, I believe I can smell something burning. What can I do to ensure that I can use my TV safely without any danger of fires or electrical shock?
