Roku HDMI Stick - Soundbar Won't Work

Wanted to see if someone could help me out. I recently bought a Roku Streaming Stick that connects directly into the back of my TV via HDMI. My soundbar is optical, however, and won't work with the HDMI Roku. Also, my TV only has RCA and optical outputs, so an Optical to HDMI converter won't be of help to me. Will an optical to RCA adapter remedy this situation? I'm confused as to what to do. Thanks!

Will this do the trick? Basically I'm unsure if the analog connection is the solution.

Sounds like you can connect the optical out of the TV to the optical in of the soundbar. Check the TV manual to see if there is a menu setting that needs to be addressed to get the audio from that HDMI input that the Roku is connected to.
