ROKU REMOTE GONE & Stick doesnt want to connect

We lost our roku remote a few weeks ago. We downloaded the app, it was working fine. Now the roku stick isnt connecting to the internet very well. Just lastnight the stick disconnected from the internet. We cant get it to connect. Now its just stuck on a screen that says Pair your remote. How do i fix this? Plz help!!!
