roxio vhs to dvd not working with windows 10

When trying to read in a VHS tape, got indication of "No Video Signal". The VCR was reading in on Channel 4. Is there any way of setting the channel or is that not necessary????

I think RoxioVHS needs video signal (red/white/yellow), not video signal. Make sure you got your connections straight. YOu can still connect a TV to your video' VHF port on channel 4 to see what you are doing.

We had this problem with Windows 10 also. We found that if you have the computer completely plugged into the VHS player RCA connectors to USB 2.0 before you open the Roxio program it reads the incoming signal fine. If you open the program then connect the cables or use a slower/older USB port it won't recognize the incoming signal. We took our TV out of the connection chain entirely to simplify things since the picture (and VCR commands like play, fast forward, etc) appears on the computer through Roxio.
