There are no zone codes, However if you have cable you should **NOT**
have snow. There is a trouble shooting procedure however
First: some questions:
1: If you watch TV, (not via the replay) do you get snow?
2: How many cable "ends" do you have (Cable boxes for example)
(if you have more than one watch ALL and report)
3:How does your cable box hook to your REPLAY, Options include RF
(TV-Out on Cable to (ANT-IN) on Replay) Video (3 RCA-type cables, Left,
Right and Video) and S-Video (the Left and right from above plus a
special cable) note this is the best method.
Now... Check ALL the cable connections, I mean ALL of them (all the
cables) make sure they are properly assembled and properly connected. I
had one where the cable had pulled partially out of the "plug" and thus
was not making proper contact, repairing the cable end fixed the signal
100%.
Finally, if all connections are good, and proper, and you have not
hooked it up wrong, call your cable company, Despite what direct TV and
Dish Network say about the "Cable Snake" delivering snow, there is NO
EXCUSE for that and it should not be happening, Cable signals should be
crisp and clear and anything less is not what you are paying for.
