S-Video and no sound?

I connected the S-Video to the TV then TO the DVD/VCR , got a picture but no sound? how do I get sound?

You need to take 'Red and White' RCA cables from the back of the VCR (should be right next to the S-Video output) and plug them into the TV (RCA inputs should be right next to the S-Video input). Mind you, some older, or less featured TVs will only have a 'White RCA' input next to the S-Video, inwhich case you only plug in the white to both the vcr and tv. That help?
