I don't think that's his point. He is saying the guy had an affair why should anyone but his wife be concerned with it. I don't care that he had an affair, don't care if you had an affair, it doesn't affect my life.

If I was into golf I would buy the game, don't care what Tiger or any of the other golfers featured in the game do in their private lives.

Tiger Woods Golf really hasn't had any new features added to it in
a long time and there hasn't been any graphic improvements lately
either. Take those two factors and add in a bad PR and you got a
lame duck on your hands. If they want to move Tiger Golf games they need to lower the price down to $ 39.99 cause they aren't spending anything on upgradeing the game anymore so there is no reason why anyone should have to pay $ 59.99 for a new version.

I never understood the big deal about Tiger's sexual affairs. Okay so it was with a lot of women and I guess he was into some really kinky stuff too. But so what? The only people truly effected by this is his family. Countless people have affairs.
All the women he slept with were willing adult participants
so I don't care where Tiger put little Tiger so why should you?

As for this hurting the franchise I honestly cannot see how. If it is then our society has major hypocritical issues. For example Michael Jackson we all know what he did we can lie to ourselves all we want but we know deep down he touched those kids and it likely was much more than just touching. Yet MJ
remained popular and a hero to many and even more so since he died. Or look at Kobe Bryant he not only cheated on his wife and did not receive nearly as much media attention or public criticism but it was also revealed that he allegedly raped a woman because she wouldn't put out in the way he wished. Whether he did that or not is unknown but that is certainly worse than just Tiger cheating. But worst of all would have to be the current pope which undeniable evidence shows that he personally has ordered to hide information about pedophilia going on in the church around the globe and simply move those who do such around so they do not get prosecuted and so the church does not face lawsuits. One billion people are catholic and follow the pope and their other religious leaders despite this.

Yet Tiger is somehow the worst person in the world.

Maybe add combat to the game. Being able to play Elin running around with a golf club and attacking Tiger's mistresses would add a whole new dimension of play.

Me thinks this sales slump is indirectly related and has more to do with his absence from all pre-masters events (missing the Arnold Palmer Invitational... just sux) and his lack-luster performance since his return. There's a reason Rory is on the cover, too, and they need to consider having multiple front men of PGA on the cover and also do something to fricken spice up the game. Seriously if Tiger's game wasn't in the shitter this would be moot. Sales would be off, but not this bad. Once Tiger realizes he needs more practice with his putter he'll be back up to form next year.

I've played a handful of golf games, and really, the only reason I've played them was because I was in the situation were Hot Shots Gold and Tiger Woods were the only games I had (not even mine)...

I would never pay for a golf game. I'd rather shave with a broken piece of glass (then again, that sounds like a really cool thing to do, so maybe)...

This is part of the problem of the young generation, they emulate morally corrupt people and they think that it won't have an effect on them and they will just emulate certain things, but the fact remains that today's youth have the worst role models...

Why do people keep trying to defend Tiger Woods? He is a loser off the Golf course plain and simple. With that said he's still the best golfer going today, he has alot of make up work in the Public relations department. And his Wife is probably still sleeping 6 doors down from him, hopefully his worst days are behind him. Nice to see him back on the course though.

First off.... I wouldn't buy anything with Tiger's name on it to begin with.

Second... I wouldn't waste money on a "golf" video game to begin with.

Thirdly... the Wii Sports Golf game is hard enough with the inaccurate motion capturing of the wiimote anyhow, let alone with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11's built in "Depression Handicap" affect.

Tiger just got married too soon. After Tiger got out this "phase" in his life - having 1000 affairs, etc., he can marry someone without issues. Perhaps though she won't be a Swedish supermodel (more brain, less body).

OK so whats new in golf from the past 10 years? its kind of like a calculus textbook the only thing new is the graphics... also its a golf game that has yearly releases, that can't be a long term business model... now if it was like the one in south park, I'd have bought a 360 just to play that.
