samson g track pro and nonadjustable system mic level

I am operating on windows 10. In system recording -- the level slider is nonfunctional and no boost exists. I am stuck at 0.

Are there any other drivers out there to allow me to adjust and boost this at this most basic level? I can't seem to find any.

I am aware that I can download third party software to boost-- but this damn lack of internal system support is really frustrating.
