Hello, I bought new headphones today Samson SR950 and they lack bass, when I try to crank them up via EQ they just sound boomy and really bad. Everyone is praising these headphones for having nice bass. I only found like 5 people on the net who have the same issue. I do not think that burn in can fix this. Any tips ? I still have 30 days to return them but I would rather have them sounds as good as they should.

It is possible you have a cold solder point on the ground lead or something that is causing the problem - I would confirm the problem on other devices (PC, phone, AV Receiver using the 1/4" adapter) if it's consistent may be worth getting an RMA.
