Samsung 48JS8500 PC connectivity issue with HDMI

Hello guys,

I recently bought the Samsung 48JS8500 and I connected it to my PC with an HDMI cable.

My PC recognizes the TV as "Samsung", I can configure the resolution and everything just like I did with any other monitor but the problem is that I just can't choose the HDMI input the PC is connected to from the TV's menu.

Reeeaaaaaally frustrated as all the previous TVs I have connected the PC to worked perfectly fine without any configuration.

Please help!! 🙁

I have two older Samsungs ToC's (touch of color) and they both have a "Source" button on the remote to select the input. Did you try that?

Yes, of course. The problem is that on the "Source" menu the HDMI that the PC is connected is grey (unavailable) and even if I do a refresh, the TV can't find the PC.
The PC on the other hand, finds and sets up the TV instantly, that's the weird thing!
