Solved! SAMSUNG DLP PROBLEM VERTICAL LINES HLP4663W

my samsung has a large vertical line (all colors) in the right middle side of the tv set. Tried turning the tv off and on but nothing has changed. What gives?

Try disconnecting cable TV and use a DVD instead.
If the lines go away, the cable signal is too strong, and is overloading the TV input.
