Samsung DLP won't turn on

Hi everyone,

I'm having a little trouble with my DLP hl67a510j1f. Initialy she took a little longer too boot up and then one day she stopped displaying.

I figured it was bad caps in the power board, so I replaced them. lots of luck. all of it bad.

I noticed that I can still see the lamp was on and the screen was gray, but the green standby/ready light just kept flashing and never completely boot up.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

is the lamp very dim? if DLP tellys work anything like projectors then it could be that the starter circuit or the bulb has gone and cannot light correctly corresponding with the flashing lights.

It's actually pretty bright. in fact at night with the lights out the TV screen is glowing like it's projecting the same color of the screen. Makes sense?

if the lamp is lighting it could be an issue with the control board, maybe a cap has gone on it instead of the power board.

Any way to test the control board?

no idea tbh besides just physically checking caps or using a multi meter on them.
