Question Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2019 SM-T290 Apps button

Having just got this new tablet, I find that the apps icon only brings up a limited selection of apps. How do I get to see all my apps using this button?

Did you perhaps look at the instructions manual?

The first link should have all info needed on that device (direct from the manufacturer) and the second link should take you to the manual online only (through a third party).

ok I have looked at the manual, all 112 pages of it, but it doesn't answer my question. Interestingly it shows the app screen with only a few apps showing.

My apps screen shows only 15 apps, but the device has many more loaded. I cant figure out how to get them all to show.

Yes, in Settings - Apps there are loads.

Yes, I can find apps that dont appear on the apps screen by searching for a specific app name.

go in to each apps and compare the settings with the one without?

ok, if I open an app that's not listed, go to its settings, I can select "show icon on apps screen". It does the job - but well hidden!

That is really odd. Thank you for finding that. I was looking all over and found nothing on that device. Sneaky how some places change things.
