Solved! Samsung - Is it bad to leave apps in the "app selector?"

I have the Samsung a32 5g.

I notice often when I have game apps open while using chrome I get an out of memory page. Should I be clearing away apps in the app selector because it does actually take up RAM and CPU resources or does it just make the battery run less effective by having to reload the app every time?

Does Samsung actually "freeze" these apps or no?
