After using the Galaxy Nexus, and getting my kids the Galaxy Player 5.0, I would love the Galaxy Note. I was a long time stylus user before the Galaxy Nexus. There are some things a fat finger just can't do well, especially for the detail oriented crowd. Why this has turned into something taboo is beyond me. If a stylus option is there alongside touch, why would that be a bad thing?
I went from a 3.5 inch screen to a 4.65 720P screen. I wouldn't go back. But, after setting up and playing around with the Galaxy Player 5.0, I was surprised how much I missed the bigger screen, even going back to the Galaxy Nexus screen. What I didn't miss, was the inferior screen resolution on the Player 5, not that it was a terrible experience to begin with.
If Verizon would have had any rumors of the Galaxy Note, I would have waited even more months to upgrade (I'd already waited 11 months after completing my 2 year contract to get the Galaxy Nexus) to the Note.
While I am very happy with the Galaxy Nexus, shortcomings and all, The Note was my dream device. It still is. Throw on ICS and it only gets better. I hope by the time I can upgrade without being penalized, the Note will come to Verizon on LTE - or an equivalent upgrade!
