Was watching, was fine, then loud pop, sounded like something dropped inside the back of the TV screen went black, has audio, red light stays off. TV is 6 years old. Would like to try to fix if replacement part is avail.

Moved plug into single socket, instead of multi power cord. Still black screen, no red light, loud buzz only..... mute button does not stop buzz. no function buttons engage any other function, only off/on.

well it sounds like you really blew some transistor and parts to the inside computer. in this day and age it is often cheaper to get a new tv with a warranty, then pay to fix an old one with rarity of parts. so please recycle that tv properly and get yourself a new one.... if money is an issue save up for it, you cant be the only guy in America with just one tv in their house.


I just googled that tv, replacement parts for it are expensive, not to mention taking your tv apart, installing new parts, putting it back together....and it is only 720p....get a new 1080p or 4k tv
