Samsung poor wifi

Hi , I have a Samsung PS64E8000 series.
For some reason I now have wifi connectivity issues.
Wifi strength on my iPad standing next to tv is 10.5 Mbps.
Speed test on tv web browser ranges from 2.4 up to 6.8.
Have been through all the reset twice with Samsung yet the problem persists.
Have changed the DNS to 8.8.8.8 but does not help.
Am wondering if it's a hardware issue as the power board recently hacked out and needed to be replaced but the connection was fine for the first week or two .
Or wether it is a recent software update issue that's causing this issue.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

It could be an internal antenna issue if the boards have recently been moved about. But bear in mind that many of the Samsung models are notoriously bad with WiFi signal strength. I have had personal experiences with this!

Have you tried a speed test with the TV hard-wired via ethernet?

The issue has only arisen after the replacement power module so maybe I have upset the antenna . Do you know where it is exactly?
I have not yet tried direct Ethernet but shall do so.
