What choice do Americans have? Donkey shit or Elephant shit - 2 different shades of brown.
In Europe we have a few more variations of brown. It's still mostly shit but at least we have more choice.

Germany for instance has 5 political parties in parliament (Christian democrats (conservatives), Social democrats (liberals), Free democrats (libertarians), "The Left" (socialist scumbags) and Greens.)

There are even 2 Pirate Party delegates in the European parliament.

I think I have crossed Apple patents just by writinng a response to this Apple article while eating an Apple and saying it is an Apple to my little brother.

The "Apple" is also patented.

I don't care about tabs/pads but I do hope that Samsung wins this one.
I don't own anything that starts with an "i" and I probably never will, but this is ridiculous either way.

Consumers should always have their choice, having the courts (or anyone) take their choice away is not right.

In other "NEWS" Apple claims that their brand sells more tablets that any other brand on the market... after they paid every court on the world to ensure that only Apple has the "right" to put their lousy products on the shelves.

It's possibly even worse than it seems. As badly as patent law has been abused in the U.S., if I'm reading this right, the "case" against Samsung is basically that their tablet looks sort-of like an iPad. Hopefully the judge that takes the appeal has a little more sense.

I'd love to see if his bank account has had a big lodgement recently! Because blocking the defending party's right to sell a product based solely on the allegations of an accusing party sounds completely unacceptable.

What Apple has done right is using the touch screen using hands and a good UI design for such interface. That's not what has been created and marketed before or not done so good that attract users and even a little child or normal people (non-geeks) can use.

It is important, because if not Apple, only geeks are playing around pen based touch pads. The market would not be the same size as now. Apple opened up the market and would like to defend it. Or Samsung can create another innovative user interface and just obsolete Apple's market. Simple enough.

Even if this is reversed Samsung can be severely hurt by this from lack of sales to advertising already paid for for a product that people cannot obtain. I doubt Apple will win when its appealed but its clear that they just planned on doing a low blow and then running away.

That cannot be done because its all done through contracts. Samsung would simply be sued if they breach it. However this clearly means that Apple has no plans to renew the contract after this.
